7de hemel / on Cloud 9

Dit is een verhuiskaart. 

Het zijn absoluut niet de kleuren die ik zelf zou verzinnen, maar in 1 van de kaarten wedstrijden staat er dat je deze kleuren moet gebruiken.

Ik kon niets leuks verzinnen, met deze kleuren, totdat ik vannacht een droom had dat ik vloog. 

This is a 'new home' card.

I would never have chosen these colors. I't had never crossed my mind to use these colors.. But in one of the challenges I'm entering it's a must.. And I'm so glad they have chosen these..

It was much harder than I imagined to use these colors on a 'new home' card.. and then last night I had a dream.. that I was flying.. and there was the inspiration!

 En dit is eruit voortgekomen. Dromen hebben is best handig, toch? Daarna heb ik wat op internet gezocht en vond deze perfecte zin..
And this card came of that inpirational dream. Gosh, dreams can come in handy!
I surfed on the web for a nice sentiment, and found this. 
It means: "In heaven with your new house" same as "in love with your new house" 
on the bottom of the card - "It's a Dream home! Congratulations and good luck"

De wolken zijn 3D opgebouwd. Ze zijn van gegeurd papier. De kaart ruikt nu heerlijk naar rozen .

The clouds are 3dimensional. Just to make the clouds pop. They're made of scented paper, so the whole card smells like roses.

Dat was het weer voor vandaag. Ik hoop dat je genoten hebt van de kaarten en nu vol inspiratie zit om zelf ook leuke kaarten te maken. Twijfel je nog? kijk dan eens bij de wedstrijden hiernaast. Dan weet ik zeker dat je het niet kunt laten om zelf ook kaarten te maken!

Mommy, I love you! / Mama ik hou van jou!

Ik wilde een mooie, duur uitziende kaar maken, met veel bling, bloemen enzovoorts.. Maar ik eindigde met deze kaart. Het lijkt wel of ik deze week alleen simpele kaarten kan maken. Niet dat ik het erg vind, zo ben je namelijk wel veelzijdig. Zo krijg je allemaal verschillende kaarten. Groot, klein, druk, simpel, noem maar op.
I was thinking about beautiful, expesive looking card, with lots of Bling and flowers and all that, but instead I came up with this.
It looks like I can make nothing else than simple cards this week. I don't know.. It's weird.. Normally I use a lot of stuff on my cards.
But I have to say I like it! This way I get a lot of different types of cards. Simple cards, big cards, small cards and so on.

De tekst heb ik op de computer uitgetypt en uitgeprint. De vogel is een digitale stempel. 

De boom waar de vogel op zit was maar een klein streepje, dus ik heb een fineliner gepakt en er nog een streep onderaan gezet, zodat de boom de grond lijkt te raken. Kun je het zien?

The text on the card means: Mommy... I love you!

I printed it out on the card itself. The bird and tree is a digi stamp. The tree was to short, so I took my fineliner pen and drew the rest of the tree, so it looks like the tree hits the ground. Can you see it?

De vogel is 2 keer uitgeprint, ingekleurd en daarna bewerkt met glitterpennen en doorzichtige embossing poeder. Daarna plakte in de gekleurde vogel bovenop de niet gekleurde vogel, voor wat extra dimensie. Het lijkt bijna op 3D, vind je niet?

I printed the bird  twice, colord one of them, used a little transparent embossing powder and adhered it to the other bird with a pop dot to make it.. wel.. Pop :)

Ducky Birthday / Eendje Jarig

Mijn 2e kaartje voor vandaag, een verjaardag kaart. Ik heb al een tijdje deze tekst in mijn hoofd en ook al speciaal de eendjes ervoor gekocht. Toen ik zag ik een paar kaart wedstrijden en vond dit de juist moment om het kaartje te maken.
My second card for this day. And it's a Birthday Card.
It's hard to explain the sentiment, but I'll try... The card says: It's someones birthday (in Holland that's a sentence from a birthday song) The word "someone" is in Dutch "Eentje". 
The dutch word "eendje" means duck(y). So I changed one letter and made it a Ducky birthday :)

Happy Easter / Vrolijk pasen!

Ja ja het is bijna zover, Pasen. Persoonlijk vier ik het niet, op een leuke paastak na.

Maar veel mensen die ik ken vieren Pasen wel. Ik kon het ook niet laten mee te doen aan een paar wedstrijden en zo een leuke Paas kaart te maken, voor diegene die het wel vieren.

Yup, it's almost Easter. Personally I do not celebrate Easter, but a lot of people I know do.

And so I just could not resist making a fun Easter card. Of course I'm entering some challenges too..

Yup, het is geel. de kleur geel sprint eraf en ik vind het SUPER. 

Ik heb nog nooit eerder een gele kaart gemaakt. Het was wel ge-wel-dig om te doen voor een keer.

Yes, it's a yellow card. Yellow everywhere!! I love it.

I never made an yellow card before, but it was great anf fun to make one. I had so much fun!!

Vrolijk Pasen means HAPPY EASTER.

En zo ziet de binnenkant eruit. Leuk en simpel.

Moederdag / Mothersday

Mijn nieuwste kaart een een mooie lente kleurige, zoete moederdag kaart. Heel lief en meisjesachtig, ik vond het de perfecte kaart om aan je lieve moeder te geven, om te laten zien hoe veel je van haar houd.
My latest card is a sweet spring-color motherday card. Very sweet and girly. I tought it's the perfect card to give to your mom. To let her know how much you love and appriciate her. 

 Is het niet schattig? De vogel is een digistempel. (Ik schaam me zo! Ik weet niet meer van wie de stempel is. Weet jij van wie, of is de stempel van jou? Plaats een berichtje en ik maak de link, zodat andere mensen ook op die website kunnen komen :-) )

 Het is, voor de verandering, een easel kaart. En ook weer een beetje anders dan anders. De bovenkant is kleiner dan de onderkant. Kun je het zien?
I made an easel card, for a change. This one is a little bit different. Can you see it? The upper side is smaler then the bottom.

Ik heb meeldraden in de bloemen gestopt, voor een wat apart effect. 

De vogel is ingekleurd met Colorsoft potloden.

I put some flower wires (is that the correct word?) in the center of the flowers (and a little bit stickles too) for a different outcome. 

The bird is coloured with colorsoft pencils.

Fijne Verjaardag / Happy Birthday

En hier is nog een kaartje.
Ik ben gisteren de hele middag bezig geweest om deze kaart te kunnen maken en moet zeggen dat het behoorlijk uitdagend was. Ik maak namelijk nooit romantische kaarten. Het was wel heel leuk om te doen, om een keer buiten je "comfort-zone" te komen.
And here is another card I made. 
I spent yesterday afternoon making this card. It was challenging beauce I never make romantic cards. 
But it was fun to do, to get out of your "comfort-zone" and do someting different.

Ja ja, ik heb ook een kaart gemaakt om mee te doen aan een paar kaart wedstrijden. Dit is mijn eerste keer, dus heb geduld met me als ik iets niet helemaal goed doe.
Yeah, I made a card to enter some card challenges. This is my first time posting and entering, so bare with me if I make some mistakes.

Dit is een "veel geluk kaart".
Het was heel moeilijk om een paar leuke ideeën te vinden om een originele kaart te maken. Maar ik denk dat het me wel gelukt is.
This is a "good luck card".
Its was more difficult then I imagined to make an original card, but I think I succeeded.

Al een tijd zit ik te denken over een creatieve blog, waar ik al mijn ideeën kwijt kan en kan laten zien, waar ik mee kan doen aan allemaal leuke challenges en mijn creaties kan tentoonstellen.
en nu is de blog er eindelijk! Ik heb de stap gezet!

I was thinking about writing a blog for some time now. I wanted to share all my ideas with you, play along with some card challenges and show you my creations.
